Hans Reiser did nothing wrong. His wife committed adultery against him. The penalty for a female having relations with a man not her husband is death. He did the morally correct thing in killing the woman who betrayed him, then stole his children, and then used to state to steal his wealth aswell.
Hans Reiser is a hero to Men: he is technically brilliant (creating the first journaling file system for linux), he is genererous (giving away his life’s work for free to the Men of the world), and upholds the sanctity of marraige (not allowing a whore to destroy his life without hers going down in flames aswell: showing that there IS a penalty against women who do so (and so many women do)).
Hans Reiser must be freed, or the culture who imprisons him must cease to exist.

Technically, I should have called myself “MikeeUSA is insane”, because he’s actually more insane than retarded.
If you want a good laugh, Google the guy and check out his “art” and “music”. The music sounds very similar to what happens when my cat walks across the piano keys.
MikeeUSA is an interesting specimen, a person with aspirations of grandeur, but extremely limited abilities. As such, he harbors a tremendous amount of self-hatred for failing to live up to his unrealistic self-image. Instead of directing his hatred directly at himself, he turns on his “creator”, in this case his mother.
Cases like the Reiser trial bring sick people like MikeeUSA out of the woodwork, because it speaks to their fantasies of being able to kill women who have scorned them or who make them feel inadequate. If his mental illness/anger go untreated, he will wind up either dead or incarcerated.
Interestingly, the Open Source movement gives people like MikeeUSA a sandbox to play in, a place to pretend they’re software developers. Unable to function in real life, get a degree or keep a job, people like Mikee pretend that they’re serious contributors to software projects, usually by posting to forums rather than actually writing code.
The posts that he’s made, threats and urging people to commit violent acts, are already adequate to indict him. Let’s hope he gets the help he needs before he does permanent damage to himself or others.

I have a bachelors degree. I have a low paying part-time job. All of the income is disposable (every last cent… I probably keep more money then you do at the end of the month).
I know that all my “contributions” are mediocre: I make them because I enjoy doing so, not for your enjoyment but for my own.

Unfortunatly, our modern culture ignores the ages old wisdom and promotes perversion instead of families. God killed that guy because said guy was obligated by the old law to take as a wife his brothers widow and raise children he had with her as his brother would have (as if they were his brothers children): this is to pay honour to his brother and sorta allow him to have a lineage. The still living brother failed to do that, God became unhappy that he wasn’t honouring his brother’s memory and killed him.

Hans Reiser was justified in killing his wife (or rather woman, read the OT hebrew): she had sex with a man other than him. The Old Testament calls for her to die. I am glad that she was killed. She divorced him (The OT does not allow females to leave, the man is ba’al: master) and committed adultery against him. She deserved to die and die she did. She’s in the ground, as God commanded such things be. Hans Reiser did the correct thing. It may have given pause to other whores thinking of having relations with men other than their husband.
